Summer Intern
Responsibilities:
The Dolma Development Fund (DDF) is looking for 2012 summer interns to work with its Kathmandu team. The intern will assist the DDF’s team in the following areas:
- Research and analysis of target sectors and scout for potential investees
- Due Diligence on business plan application, including financial, legal and operational analysis
- Conduct financial and social impact analysis on the DDF’s investment portfolio
- Prepare and present investment recommendations for approval from the investment committee
- Supporting investment committee in deal structuring
Qualification:
- MBA candidate or similar graduate studies
- Experience in financial analysis and modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- International development experience is preferred
- Experience in South Asia is a plus
- Able to work independently and in a team
Additional information:
- Associates are responsible for covering the cost of their Air Fare, Visa and Lodging
- Travel related to work will be covered by DDF
- DDF will assist associates to find affordable lodging in Kathmandu
Timeframe:
The internship is expected to run for minimum of 8 weeks, starting from early June.
